I'm with Angelia, I think Judy's teasing us. "dark, medium, light, bright and neutrals" Hmmmm, what's left? Plaids, polka dots, and posies?

Will the scrappy be a lap size quilt or smaller? It will help to know just how much scraps I have to come up with. I've never done a scrappy either and was wondering how big a piece you save and what you toss?

After much agonizing and sketching and throwing out those sketches, I have come up with the scrappy for the January mystery quilt. In fact, I finally narrowed it to two ideas, so I picked one, and then maybe #9 will be another scrappy! And for those of you who wanted to know what is needed, you will need the following:

dark, medium, light, bright and neutrals.

So start sorting those scraps and get ready for the fun in 2 months.
I'll be there! I'll be there!! Just had great news from the doc today, so all is a 'go' for fun! YAY!

Coop ,wonderful news. You go Girl. I have my scraps all together and sitting by my sewing machine. Have a batch all gathered for the Bonnie Hunter MQ that is to start the day after Thansgiving. So maybe between these 2 my scrap pile will begin to go down. Do we know how to make time pass faster? I got another quilt done with putting the binding on yesterday. Just have 8 more to do.lol Jolo

I have problems with posting photos also. I think one of my problems is the size. I am going to try again this weekend.
I wanted to but didn't have time to do this mystery. Every one turned out so pretty. There is so much talent on this board.
I have written this down and the date to start. I have wanted to sort my scraps and this gives me an extra shove to at least start. I'm looking forward to it.

giggle................dark,medium,light,bright and somber.......save them all.....tiny,big,bigger and not so tiny......

all scraps are created equal........save them all........giggle.......Wow, I am no longer the most impatient for clues.

save them all for January....this is soooooooooo much fun.......giggle...That's what a Mystery is all about ! ! !

and just to be more mischievous......very often scrappy can be any size you want, you just keep making more blocks......giggle.........Clues are whispers in the wind, till the start date...giggle
