    W4Me ... Impressive indeed!!! Are you completing this as a wall hanging? or? Such even stitching for your applique, with well matched threads. The blue background really lets the tree and the border/frame pop!! I'm proud of you for your originality.

    Cool tree! That turned out really really well. One could almost lie under it with a cool glass of wine...

    Thank you everyone. This will be finished as a mini wall hanging. It is the right size for a pillow, though. I still have time to decide.

    Applique stitching is great in some areas, not so great in others. Just proves it was hand stitched.

    And, yes, I will be hand quilting this. My very first hand quilting project. Talk about a labour of love.

    Ok, time to show the way my thoughts are going on this project:[ATTACH=CONFIG]420710[/ATTACH]the friendship fabric matched up with stash pieces, washed and pressed.

    [ATTACH=CONFIG]420712[/ATTACH] Inspiration A or Inspiration B [ATTACH=CONFIG]420713[/ATTACH]And the pattern for the wall hanging or the table runner and/or placemats
    [ATTACH=CONFIG]420714[/ATTACH] is called "Solid Foundation" its a wall of bricks. Solid. Decision time. Suggestions or constructive comments?

    Oh QNS, that fabric is wonderful! I love all the inspirational blocks - really cool! They would make a great wall hanging!
