I also love the burgany block! Does anyone know the name of it? I would love to make it. All the blocks showing up are so beautiful I am so glad I joined this swap.

oksewnsew did you take pics of my two blocks? and that adorable tea pot ornament? if so can you post them otherwise I have to go to facebook post them there then they can be copied and put on here? my stupid computer will not allow me to do them the easy way anymore. anyone with windows8 who knows how to solve this let me know as I cant figure it out at all.. it lets me pic pictures.. but it just sits here doing nothing no uploading at all. argh pirates!

I received this amazingly big gift certificate for fabric yesterday. I went to the store was so shocked at the value of the certificate that I walked through the quilt shop.. and couldn't decide on anything. I came home with 16.00 of fabric and an open jaw at the gift. I have NEVER had trouble spending money at this store.. and always its a .. wish thing wish I could buy this or that.. I buy a fq instead of yardage and feel pretty good I got it. Have you ever had trouble just buying fabric? is something seriously wrong with me? I came home and thought "what is WRONG with you?" sigh.. now I know what I want to make and shoot no way to run right back over there and get it!

I hope all have swaps blocks by now - time is running out on October. IF you have not communicated with your partner, please do so asap. Partners will be assigned next week, and we don't want anyone 'hanging'... Thanks

The block is called "All Hallows" - I found it on pinterest and then just drew it out in EQ7. If you go over to the pictures forum, I did a very large, very bright version as a center for a round robin with Brat and Jaba and others.

Send me a PM with your email and I can send you instructions (they are all HST's).

Mine have not gone out, however, I have notified my partners and will be working on them first thing Monday morning. We had a trip planned for the middle of this month and I've been away. So, fast fingers and machines come Monday

PLEASE, if you have not sent your block to your partner, or have not been in contact with, please do so by next Wednesday, Oct. 30th, or I will not include you in the November swap. I realize 'life happens', but just take a few minutes to let us know what is going on. Thanks to all that have sent their blocks & kept in contact.

I'm sorry to be so direct but this is a fun swap, lots of talented folks here, and it's not fair to the ones that do their blocks and then not hear anything else from their partners. Everyone has done a great job, thank you. I have had several ladies contact me during the month to join the fun. I will list them later.
