Nanna-up-North, LOL! No, you dont have to count your un-begun quilts!!! It's just that I shoulda, woulda, coulda, yadda, yadda, had this one ready for Christmas. And before I really get into my "deep" UFO pile, I need to finish the most recent important ones. And then I need to learn why I let so many build up and work to not let that happen. Joining this group is one way to do that. Reading Lori Kennedy's blog, The Inbox Jaunt.com is another. She's doing a feature on UFOs in the last month or so. Lots of food for thought.

Well after sleeping on it, I have decided to replace two of the four fabrics in my ddil's quilt. They were just not all playing nicely and seeing this is a gift, I just can't give it if I'm not satisfied. So this will mean a delay, but will be better in the long run. Bummer!

QltrSue: So hard to go backwards, but sometimes you just know that you won't be happy until you do. Hope it goes smoothly now!

    Default Jan UFO

This is my UFO for Jan. I got the top at a thrift store. Had a ton of ripped seams . Had to do some patching. Added borders. Getting ready to put on LA to quilt. Now to decide which one to finish for Feb.

Nena: What a great quilt. What was it ever doing in a thrift shop? I think the people who save quilts pay tribute to our art. Please show us when you get it quilted. QltrSue: Didn't sound like whining to me, just a touch of exasperation.

    Default MN USA quilt

This is a t-shirt quilt that I started in Oct 2013. It will be an auction/fundraiser item this weekend for the MNUSA Snowmobile group in northern Minnesota. Another UFO finished...this makes it my 4th UFO completed in 2014!

You are making it very tempting to try one of those. That is a great quilt. I really like the way the blocks are set.
