What great fabric - I can't wait to touch and play with it all!! GramE - I can see grays too - make sure you write what you would like us to use. You may want to use the dark color for sashing if you want us to use the paler colors.
Modern - like some modern quilts - not really sure what a modern block is. Traditional is usually safer on swaps. I love applique but do not do it - just enjoy when I get them! Brings so much fun to the swap quilt.

i filled my bags today & added a note saying if you want to go lighter please use green, grey or an eggshell or off white. Not sure of all the protocols but if I'm getting a bag of someone else's fabric I want a lot of info!

I read somewhere that those of us who like to touch the fabrics are a different sort of people. I like to touch too!

I love them too, in all their imperfectness. But that was my final forever attempt at paper piecing. Never been so happy to have something done! And I started out thinking I would make a dozen! Hahaha.

So for those of us that are filling baggies etc., how many are you making. Or how do you know how many to make?

I couldn't agree with you more. I've tried paper piecing & it's just not worth the intense concentration I have to put into it not counting the ripping & restitching. Here's my last & final try. Actually it is the second attempt, first was worthy only of file 13!
I think these bunnies are stinking cute! Great job.

I have 20 baggies ready. I can always remove some baggies if they aren't needed. OR...I could do both groups and just prepare a few more using the same fabric for both groups.
How many do we have in the 2 month group now, Janice? I really love the rust, chocolate and peacock blues in my fabric. I'm asking for a cream background (solid or COC) and something reading solid or TOT to match the rust, chocolate and/or blue in my fabric. Whatever turns you on, I will love.

Ok one group will get solid white. I would like people to add tone on tone oranges and greys or fabrics, prints, that have only those colors in it. Modern and or traditional patterns are welcome but I have a preference for stars or something like it. I prefer no applique for this quilt. I took some pictures and will post those later after loading them.

Since I am in two groups I might do the same for both groups but I am also thinking of maybe a more traditional one.

I always do 16 for each group. Figure I will send it or I will be making some blocks. Kids and us all have queen and king beds.....I always have to make more blocks. This year baby quilts so it will be easy for me
