I love making scrappy quilts and always love having new material to work with.

you can request if you are wanting a particular type of fabric
otherwise you will get anything goes scraps


Quilt Blocks
4" or 6" or 8" or 12"
you can request colors


Scrap squares
sizes 2" 3" 4" 5" etc
you can request colors type as in florals / civil war/ small print/ batiks etc

I'm interested! I would like to swap strings of various widths (not smaller than 1.5 x7) with someone. That way I could make string quilts, or cut the strings down into smaller pieces as I need or want. I'm not interested in cutting squares at this point--I'm in 3 other swaps for squares and FQs.

Only 100% cotton.

I would be most interested in strings, same as zozee. Minimum of 1.5" x 7".

But, I will add that I'm a nut about using every last bit of fabric. I have sorted bins with crumbs and strings that are an inch or less, and have started cutting and stacking 1" squares. So, I'll trade with anyone with a similar obsession! Or, if you just throw those away anyway, throw them my way...I'll pay postage!

I've been given alot of scraps that some of them I can't use. so I am able to send most anything except batiks /civil war/ etc.

I may jump in the strings swap. Depends on how soon you want to mail. I don't have any cut but am willing to cut them.

So swappers you can talk to each other and see when you want to mail and the amt of scraps you want to send.

If anyone knows of anyone who could really use a helping hand with scraps or fabric let me know. I like to help someone who can't afford much. I started out not being able to afford anything but yard sale clothes I had in a closet when I taught myself to quilt in 1980
