I wonder just how many of us are hanging around the computer this morning?

I have the coffee brewing and some cinnimon rolls will be coming out of the oven in 15 minutes. I will join you all lounging in the club car waiting patiently for the next clue.....yes I am going to be patient.

Welcome to all the new riders!

Welcome Marta and Teacup. It's always fun to meet new riders. I just dropped off quiche tarts in the club car to go with the coffee and cinnamon rolls. Need some protein with all those carbs!

I woke to a note that the coffeemaker is broken--Ack! I dragged out my old metal camping pot--the result isn't great, but it is hot with caffeine. Ready for clue #2 now.

Good morning everyone! I'm on the train, but haven't started my 4 patches. Still sorting out my scraps. I should be caught up by next week. My November floral swap blocks are slowing me down. I'm 1/2 way done with with those. Then I can give my full attention to this mystery. I really like everyone's 4 patches. They all look so nice.

By by the way, I left a pan of chicken enchilada casserole (copied from the internet that hubby printed out for me) for lunch or dinner. Enjoy eating everyone and enjoy sewing and quilting!!

My coffee isn't brewed. I don't really like the taste of real coffee, but am very cold natured and like to have a hot beverage, especially in the winter. I take an oversized cup, put about 1/4 water the rest milk, pop it in the microwave for about 1.5 minutes, a couple of teaspoons of instant coffee then top it w/ whipped cream ( the real stuff not cool whip). Best coffee ever.

Oh my goodness, we were a chatting bunch yesterday. Want to comment on 3 pages of posts, then I will post clue #2.
    Siodach - love those scrappies!Turned our super-extroidenary.
GrandmaCindy - re: making bigger -- just go ahead and make more blocks in at least multiples of 4 or 6, then at the end when you make the one unit, the 44 x 58" unit, I will give some advice on assembling it into bigger quilts. And also will have some scrappy border ideas for you.
Welcome back, Irishrose. And welcome to our new riders, Marta, teacup and happylab.
Quilt addict - I agree 100% -- this is, as always, such a friendly helpful group.
Kaussaundra - oh please join us, not too late. Be a lurker no longer!
OMG Dottie - you what a fantastic score!
AngeliaNR - good you had a stand-by coffee pot. If it had been me, I would have had to make a run to a 24-hour Walmart!
And now, off to post #2. See you in a few minutes.
