Shoulder surgery here, too! I had rotator cuff surgery this summer and just barely was able to get mine up on the top shelves. Sure made it interesting to wrap the fabric with one arm. Hope you heal soon and can put things where you want!

What do you make your boards out of?
What is the line notation for?

Fantastic way to store fabric and appreciate what you have.
I was planning to go to IKEA and buy some dressers for my fabric. This will put it out of sight; but I am begining to think I like your way better.

I do the same thing, only I recycle empty fabric bolts from Joann's - I can get 4 of them out of one complete bolt, then I fold my fabric around and secure with a straight pin. I don't have quite the stash that you do, but I'm quite sure I have more than I think I do....and the last quilt I made emptied many of my little bolts - is this a valid excuse to buy more fabric? Oh, wait, I already did!

What type of board are you using. It looks like the white matt board you can get at hobby Lobby.

I know that you posted this quite a while ago, but I'm hoping you still keep up w/ it. What did you use for the boards? I'm sorry I got the size, but not what they were made out of. I love this idea though.
    Thank you

Wow, how organized and not only that, a person could get so much more fabric on shelves doing it this way. I might get my fabric out of boxes yet.
