Missy, what do you think about there fabric choices? What else do I need+ I really dont know how to arrange these could I get suggestions? This is my first mystery quilt and I am scared stiff. I will make a mess or be hopelessly lost in the process. I still am not sure how many fabrics I need. Help!!!!

    You are welcome!
OK, it looks like you have your focus and then 7 fabrics, right? You need one more for a total of 9. Is the background for the focus black? Perhaps you can use black for the inner border or one of the accents?

PLEASE ALL FEEL FREE TO HAVE A LOOK. Thanks for showing interest and good luck everyone with your mystery quilt. ;)[/quote]

Hi cuddly, I am fortunate enough to be able to buy the Amafu from the Bernina dealers about 10 Km from me... They have a wonderful range...
When I could not find the colour I wanted I used to tie and dye my fabrics.... I made some wonderful quilt tops with my own dyed fabric. (this was when I was very artistic and creative!!!!)
This mystery is getting to be soooo exciting... but shall only be able to go and buy after Christmas as I have other things I want to finish before I get involved with something else...
    ciao

Hi your colours are stunning... No need to be scared as we have a great bunch of helpful quilters on the board who will guide us through anything that we are not sure about....
So glad you decided to join. I have done a mystery by following one on the internet a looooong time ago. It turned OK. We often use it when we go on picnics or just to place on the lawn.... have a great time ciao

I'm with candi on using black for the inner border.
