    Had a Willcox & Gibbs go for auction sale on Sunday for $60. It needed some work but not $9300 worth. they also had some small Singers that went for $50 and $60 each.

    They didn't have much after the quake and fire so they turned the coffin box over and packed it all in there.

    At least now days we don't mistreat sewing machines that way...we use grocery carts to push our possessions around after a disaster.

    probably moves around better on the grocery cart - I would grab a sewing machine in the event of a disaster... LOL HC

    not a bad price or anything - just a thought though - line these up in front of your hoard or treadles and you don't have to move the chair around - set it down and sew... put it back up and move to the next machine!!!
