There are so many swaps going on that it is hard NOT to join every one! Hosting can be a challenge, I am torn between suggesting another one for fall and just taking a break...

Six down, six to go!
This is a block I drafted. I'm pretty pleased with the way it looks, but it's kind of fiddly to sew and get to look right and be the right side, thus it's going slower than usual. And important things keep coming up to get in the way of my sewing, like going to the pool with my kids...and camping trips. Summer is busy!
I bought half a yard of the sky fabric, before I knew what block I wanted to do. I made some cutting mistakes, and wow, that 1/2 yard didn't go very far! So i bought some other fabric for the rest of them. Hopefully I won't have to go fabric shopping for these blocks yet again. All of the fabrics of the balloons themselves are from my scrap basket.
