Ganny, you will end up with 12 sets, because you use parts of other sets to make #6 (strips 6-5). I cut one of the #11 strips in half, and used that for #6. You only need 16 inches for this one, so it works out well. On the other hand, I needed to piece some extra from left-overs to give me enough for #8.
Clear as mud. I have started over with my strip alignment.

NO!! Keep the 11 strip sets!! But before you sew the LAST ONE of number 11 together (remember, there are three of these), cut each of the strips in half, making two strips of 22 inches each. This will leave you with 2.5 strip sets of number 11. Now, take the other half of the strips, and re-arrange them into a new strip set with the fabrics in order from 6 to 5. This is your 12th strip set.

Well, I have already started over. Getting my self confused again. For example, when I start with #9, I go 9, 10, 11, 1, 2, etc, thru 8? (I thought I was kinda smart. Something always comes along to put me in my place!)

I meant the ones I put together without the extra chat. I couldn't even BEGIN to understand what to do until I did that. Good for you!

It is very difficult! Too much talk. Where are your instructions?
