Hey Billy, can you do a tute on what to do if you have a screw left over that doesn't fit the last hole which happens to be the bobbin winder? The leftover screw is to small for the hole. lol Guess I will have to tear it down again and start over. By the way, the machine runs and I only need to adjust the tension.

    Grandmother 23,

I feel your pain!! I ended up with an extra flat washer. . . so I definitely will do things different next time!! More photos. Photos of the right things and printouts of the photos, with important parts circled and color coded with marking pens!!!

Your tutes are great, Billy, and much appreciated. DH was very proud of me for following your tute and restoring my baby.

I'm looking forward to the tutes too, Billy. Cuz I'm not afraid to take things apart to see if I can fix 'em. My DH just roll his eyes when I get the micro screwdriver out to take apart a digital camera. Hey, I have a chance to fix it and I can't make it worse if it's already broken. He he he.

Billy, looking forward to the new tuts that you are working on. You are always so good and patient with us. It seems like these items maybe easier to find then the cleaning supplies :) As always appreciate all you do!

Took the pictures, thought I had separated everything into the right baggies. Now I will have to try color coding things. Can't hurt!! I like taking things apart just to see if I can put them back together, LOL. If all of the screws were different sizes (no two alike) it would make things a lot easier. Just my opinon.

Yay! I just bought a second vintage Singer that really needs TLC! It's just sitting out in the garage, waiting...

Thanks for doing these tutes for us. You do such a good job, and everything is very clear and looks very easy to do.
