Beautiful fabrics. I wouldn't sash, you'd lose the secondary pattern that will emerge. It won't be too 'busy' with the limited colour palette - be brave and go with it, it will be stunning. :-D

I agree with hobo2000 - the secondary pattern will be gorgeous. That is an amazing color combination!!!

Wow! That turquoise fabric sure does pop doesn't it! It's beautiful. In order for me to state my opinion, I'd need to see what the panel fabric would be.

+1 (to all that said NO sashing).

Those blocks look wonderful and almost sparkle because of the amount of each fabric in the combo.
If you start putting MORE turquoise in there, the mix gets out of whack, and it just won't be as special JMHO

I'm dying to see your fancy couch - must be pretty cool to go with those blocks/color combo.

    OK, wait.

If you wanted to put in sashing to make it bigger then here's an option:

The only sashing I would add would be from the dark fabric with another turquoise square in square in the middle (turq on point with the print corners) - the same as the strips you'be put around the block. The cornerstones should be dark as well - or incorporate them into the sashing strips. But they should just blend in.

So now there would be a chain of 5 turq's diamonds connecting in each direction.

That would also mask the fact of the sashing because it would be such a integral part of the pattern.
You couldn't tell the difference between the block and sashing components.

    Does that make any sense?

I love these blocks! Either way would be beautiful...I would do all of the blocks. You have the time and that way you wouldn't think back and wonder what it may have looked like done completely in the blocks. :)
