It took me over a year to make my first post. I try not to post unless I have something useful to say, but sometimes I just have to tell someone how much I like their quilt. Now I need to work on starting more of my own posts.

Patrice I love your cheer. I have to admit I have been a member for along time, I don't post near as much as I used to. I learn alot from following along but also have learned to limit my computer time or I don't get anything else accomplished.

I do believe that I would post more often if the format hadn't been changed. I've now gotten to the point that I understand a bit more but still haven't posted a picture since the change..haven't figured that one out as yet.
.........and why does a thread revert back to the very beginning when it appears after the first posting?
I guess the saying, "can't teach a old dog, new tricks" has my name written all over it.

I must admit that I do read this board daily.........love the main, and the pictures...and the general chit-chat and the recipes...need I say more, I like coming onboard!

If someone has posted a "picture" and there are already oodles of pages of "good job" and "beautiful", I usually don't post......Not that I don't feel the same way, but enough is enough..... I do post if I think I can add something to the conversation......I don't imagine everyone reading it may feel that way....HeeHee, but that's what drives my responses. I LOVE this board. I really learn so much......and it's fun.....

It took me a little while to jump in. I still don't post much but I read almost every day. Like someone already stated- I try to limit my time online so I can get things done.

I have learned a great deal here and enjoy the exchange of information.

They are all a part of this board. Silent or not.

It may be that 20% of the people do 80% of the posting???

I'm finding that I have less and less to say - I'm with the others in that if the question has been answered six different ways with most of the answers repeated at least twice - I'm not going to add to that thread.

I understand that what may be "new" to someone else is "old" to me. And vice-versa. There is usually something to comment on, though.
