Good for you! I quit too and I know it isn't easy. BUT!! Now your quilts will smell soooo much better. I find I cannot stand to get a package from a smoker. Almost makes me ill now.
Congrats to you!

Qltinglady, you should be so proud of yourself for quiting smoking. It is not an easy thing to do when one has smoked for 20-25 years but I finally did and my 17th free smoking year will be here in October. I am soooooooooo glad that I quit. We talk about babies breaking them of pasafiers, well, that is a cigarette also. So again, you need to put your shoulders back and just enjoy the fact that you are truly blessed that you were able to quilt. Have a great year and just keep on buying that fabric and make yourself something great....a new maching might be nice also.

Hope you are doing well with your new smoke free life. I never got hooked, but inhaled my Dad's two pack a day second hand smoke. I want to tell you, that I quit going to my favorite quilt and yarn shop in Ohio because everything that I bought there smelled like smoke. Not because of customers smoking, but the two women who bought it, doing so in the back room. I'm so proud of you..........

Congratulations! What a great thing you did for yourself and your family and friends by stopping. Hope you find that fw.

Congratulations on being smoke free for two months so far. I never was a smoker but when I see how much they cost it blowes me away - what a waste. So glad I never got hooked. Just think of all the extra money you'll have to play with now that you're not literally burning it up. Hope you continue to enjoy the benefits of being smoke free. My DH quit many years ago after a bit of a struggle but it is possible. Good luck!
