    This is totally pieced. The black part is one-inch strips sewn at the quarter inch on each edge leaving the half inch showing.problem is when the light is shining through, you can see the seam allowances of the colored fabric. You normally would not see this on a quilted piece. My thoughts are...IF I ever make another...make strips for the back side as well. Using bias on these does not work well.
