I don't have any Bernina's. My older ones are Kenmores with the exception of my Grandmothers. It is a Nelco. Not really fond of it, its way to heavy (billed as portable in a case) at 38 pounds and has the left position needle. It sews well (even after being in my Mothers shed for 25 years). I guess you can say I'm just starting out.
