    I have used these for years with great results -- I use a pencil sharpener. I have used both the white and silver depending on the color of what I am marking. Think I may try the chalkboard chalk just because it is cheaper.

    Just like Tartan I use ordinary chalk. I am intrigued by the neat markers, but worry what the chemicals might do to the fabric in twenty years time.
