    This sounds like a great idea. I am going to have to try it. I just used 100+ pins to lay out a baby quilt, and am not looking forward to getting stuck 100+ times while I quilt it. Thanks for the tip.

    go to www.sewforless.com I just bought so before Christmas for $14.99 a can I usually buy two cans for this has to be shipped UPS. I buy this here at the local quilt shop and it was $23.99. Too much

    Some girls on another groups were talking and they are using cheap hairspray to baste their quilts. If you are going to wash your quilt when finished ... no problems.

    Hmmm....cheap hairspray sounds interesting, may try it, but for now, I'm good with the Elmers!

    I don't know where you are in Ontario piker6ca but I live in Northern Ontario (Timmins) & at our Fabricland it is $27.00 but I only buy it when they have their 1/2 price sale. Just some information, I was in our local WalMart Super store & the same can sells for about $16.00 there.
    As for it not working well, I have been using it for about 3 years & am VERY happy with the results (except for the fumes) but I leave a window open & have my ceiling fan to help circulate the air.

    That's why I use Elmers School Glue. You don't have any toxic fumes

    I,m in North bay and $34.00 at Fabricland here. I,ll have to go to Walmart for sure.
    But maybe i,ll keep the windows closed and get in my happy place lol
