Oh my gosh! I can't imagine working with such small pieces. You did an excellent job on these.

Thanks everyone...miniatures are my favorite quilting genre...

Honchey..remember how much I growled about PPing in the FWS PC quilt?...guess all the growling paid off in the FG quilts.

Jan, in EQ I created a strip of 16 adjoining FG blocks, started with the first goose, added the sky pieces, then the next goose and sky set until the strip was all sewn.

regm..looks like I should've used the tweezers to pick off threads..and to answer your question...no just my clumsy fingers.

katydidkg..no particular patterns...my guild "friends" save me their bits....my method to my madness is to make a bunch of 4P, 9P, or HST'S then decide what to do with them...I was tired of making HST'S and thought "why not make FG blocks with all those leftovers corner triangle cuts"...once I decided what colors to pair with the blocks the quilt takes on its own personality depending on what's in my scrap bag..the green 4P on point border with the music notes fell together so serendipitously. I was given a long 3" strip of this fabric and it matched so well..My 12 yo GD picked out the purple colorway for the one FG..

cjsews...yes I've been following the itty bitty thread..Honchey been trying to get me started on it...thanks for the invite...

Kalamaquilts..I found the hanger in a thrift shop for 50 cents...couldn't pass it up

    Thanks all

Those are beautiful. I especially like the second one. You don't mention what size the finished blocks are ????

Thanks ChrisDee..the block sizes vary...the 4P's blocks finish at 1/2"..the log cabin logs finish at 1/4"... most of the HST's finish at 1/2" although the first 2 are big measuring 1" finished. I think the pinwheel HST'S are 5/8" (finished)..the flying geese strips each measure 1x8".

Not sure if I have a favorite, but am partial to the pinwheel...it was one where fabric choices and layout just fell together.

Hi Rhonda...here's the link to that thread

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...s-t259348.html

Thanks for your kind words, friend..your motivation will return..sometimes life gets in the way....you know your miniature posts inspired me to take my obsession to the next level...what I have learned over the past 6 years is mind boggling...

My thought is to decorate my Christmas tree with them and let the kids take their pick of 2 before they go home...that takes care of 8 of them...then want to donate 1 or 2 to the local hospital auction in September, but the need to be finished in 2 weeks...thinking of sending the green 4P on point...not sure which one I want to keep...
