I have two and I love them. I have one for my machine at home and one for my traveling machine. My little pockets are full of necessities.

deedum, I just checked my Bernina in a table. If you added some to the piece that would be under the machine it should work. I would need about 26" in length to do the pocket & have it under the first "feet" of the machine. I'm guessing about 30" to be under the whole machine.

I never thought of that. That is a good option. I will see her in a couple of weeks and hopefully I can get it to work on her machine. Here is a pic of mine. I may make one for my other machine and one for my serger yet.

Well, I made my sewing machine pad today...I did not have the 1/4" steam a seam and it was icy/ rainy/ yucky outside, so I just sewed it down....it was fun! easy, and soooooooo cute! I think I'll make another for my other machine too....and one for traveler....and I'll take to guild meeting next month for sew n tell and reference the MSQC tute!

update on my gift of machine pad. I gave it to my friend today and she loved it. fit perfectly on her machine because her cabinet is flush and machine sat on top after all, she loved the colors and the whole idea for her sewing room. Made a great gift.

I made some sewing machine pads from two layers of leftover fleece I serged together with matching blend of thread. I didn't put pockets on mine because I don't like stuff hanging off the table between me and the machine.

I wanted something prettier than folded up towels.
