Me, too, on Connecting Threads. The fabric has a great feel for the price.

Fabric.com will allow returns at no cost; I'm not aware of any other online store that has this policy. You do not even need to give a reason for the return. Mine have never been concerns with the fabric texture, but rather due to just not liking the fabric, the fabric having a different scale than anticipated, or the color not being exactly what was anticipated.

I love Craftsy especially their clearance section. I have bought several "Mystery boxes" and have always been satisfied. You may not like all the fabrics in the boxes, but as the saying goes -- if you cut the pieces small enough, the well fit into the pattern. lol MSQC usually have nice fabric especially if you like precuts.

I recently joined Etsy and found fabrics on sale for $3.95/yd, it was older lines but it was exactly what I was looking for, helped with shipping fees. arrival was timely.
    There is Quilt Fabric Closeouts.
Keep your eyes open for local Quilters garage sales or local Guild sales.

I mostly purchase from Thousands of Bolts (they are in Ohio) and, being in Kentucky also, I usually receive my order in three days (very quick to ship).

I shop at Joanns.com, Fabric.com, Marshall Dry Goods, and Connecting Threads. I like them all. I buy the most fabric from Connecting Threads.

I also like Connecting Threads. I would wait until closer to July 4th, when there will likely be good sales. Connecting Threads had a huge sale on solids and blenders about two weeks ago (60% off)...those same fabrics are still on sale, but are now only 20% off. Be patient, and get on the mailing list for all the main places. I get emails every day about fabric sales, and some are great sales.

I would be very tempted to wait a week and check out what deals are available in connection with your July 4th holiday. Many online, as well as brick and mortar shops feature extra specials near a holiday.
