    Adding the onion reminds me of the movie "Harvey" when the Myrtle Mae offers to make the attendant an egg and onion sandwich. My DH thought it sounded horrible, I thought it sounded fantastic, my mom used to make them that way, so I thought everyone did.

    Never thought about adding them to a B.L.T.A. sandwich but I assure it would be wonderful. I love onions.

    I'm just tomato on toast with a tiny bit of mayo.....Pure heaven if the tomatoes come from my garden.
