Default Crockpot Pumpkin Bread

I've been on somewhat of a crockpot fad lately. I made this recipe for crockpot pumpkin bread and it is delicious. I did add some walnuts but otherwise, the ingredients were the same. My bread pan was too big for my oval 6 quart crockpot, so I used an aluminum tin foil pan about 5 x 7 inches or so. I cooked on high for 3 hours, so moist but still held together great. I think it was sweet enough but my husband thought it could be a little sweeter.

Really great result, so sharing here.

What an interesting way to make bread. Wonder if I can make it in my tiny crock pot.

Maybe cut the recipe in half and see. I really like it..it is just an alternative to using an oven right now. But it is easier to clean up than the oven as well.

Wow, this looks interesting. I'm seriously thinking of giving it a try. Thank you.

Didn't say what size pan...I'm presuming one needs an oval shape crockpot?

My normal size loaf pan did not sit down into the crockpot I have (oval six quart) so I improvised and used a aluminum tin foil pan that was about 5 x 7. It turned out very moist and still held its shape.

I would check out a normal pumpkin bread recipe but I would guess that 350 degrees F and at least 40 minutes, checking with a toothpick. But remember this was a crockpot recipe, so you need to research a pumpkin bread recipe for the oven. Hate to see it burn on you.
