Just finished: last quilt of 2009
#26
That is a very pretty quilt and if that is not great quilting I will hide my quilts from you as my hands are doing just fine. Beautiful and will be much loved I think. I wish you a quick recovery and being a proud mom of an Army daughter I am thankful yours has come home safely.

So striking! I love it and the quilting looks wonderful! I so hope your surgery goes well and that there are NO complications this time! You will be able to be on the computer, won't you?

I don't know if I will be able to get on the computer. This is on my right shoulder and I am very right handed!!! I busted my left wrist a couple times as a kid and my surgery on the left shoulder 18 mos ago made it even weaker and uncoordinated. I hope to be able to at least check on things here but not sure if I can type. If I can it will take me a long time to do it!!!!
I am a bit nervous, because of the hard time I had last year. I do know however, how my left shoulder felt before I had it fixed and how much better is it today (not 100 % but much much less pain) So I have hope that the pain and suffering I have to go through over the next 6 mos or more will be worth it in the end. I do want to be able to hold my grandchildren when they finally arrive!!!!!
I am bummed that I will not be able to quilt. It is so relaxing for me and cheers me up. I will be studying my patterns and books and staring at my fabric stash dreaming a lot. (I won't even be able to take notes on things I want to do, I won't be able to write!!)
