If you can't give the quilt to a museum, try a local library. Our guild hung a sesquicentennial quilt in the local library and I look at it every time I go there, for I have two bird blocks in it.

That is absolutely fantastic. I plan to complete a Canadian quilt for my son-in law. I have the traditional maple leaf pattern, Canadian flag print fabric. I plan to put the new Canadian flag (multicolor) either in a corner on the front or on the back. It's a great time for Canadians.

I love all the details you put into your anniversary quilt. It's beautiful and sentimental too.

Absolutely beautiful quilt! All of my mothers side of the family are from Guelph, Ontario. Most of my grandma's sisters & brothers became US citizens back in the 1940's & 1950's but we always visited the family that remained there & of course they visited us also. Lots of fun! My one great aunt ( grandma's favorite sister) used to come over here on a bus & visit on every holiday. I used to go with my grandma to pick her up at the bus terminal in Lansing, MI. Sorry to get off track here! Just brought back such great memories.
