    This was my thinking as well. Then you wouldn't have any dark strips touching the dark blue and getting "lost" .
    I love the fresh colors in your quilt, and adore blue and green together.

    If size is not an issue, I would go borderless. After birthing it, I would STID in the first strip line to create the illusion of a border (and to hold it securely). If you need the larger size, I might make the green inner border just a tad wider and the blue just a bit narrower - but the colors work fine for the borders.

    I am odd man out. I always use borders. Except for donation quilts that are the right size without borders. If you keep it, it may bother you without borders.
    I personally would use a thin strip of the light green and then a little wider border of the blue. I think that would be much nicer than no borders.

    I read everyone's opinion but honestly, I think that the border is way too dark. It does nothing for the quilt and really distracts from it. I really think you should go a bit lighter or no borders at all.
