    Your quilt is wonderful!!!
That is something I have always wanted to try but never could find good instructions or someone to guide me along.
    Maybe someday.

Your quilt is awesome! Love the colors.

    For others>>>>>
There is a very nice set of directions on how to quilt as you go on
"www.quilterscache.com/quilt blocks galore" along with zillions of quilt block patterns. (Marcia Hohn's web site) Lots of fantastic info.
I tried this with one of "Quilt in a Day" patterns, and it worked really well.

question: since the blocks were already quilted when you joined them with the sashing, did the sashing strips also have any batting enclosed so they'd be of equal thickness?
(new quilter so hope that's not stupd question).
    thanks!

I have read about the quilt as you go . . . I find it confusing. Did you get your instructions and pattern from a book? Your quilt is beautiful and the colors do not look washed out. Do you think this method was quicker? char

I will dig out the book used for this quilt and post it. (Requires a bit of digging :( )

    Your quilt is beautiful
I love quilt as you go. I do mine by rows. This way I can make the quilt any size. Having to have someone else quilt for me gets very expensive.
Not only to I enjoy quilting this way, I can save money to buy more fabric. The quilts have my person touch, little hidden secrets in the rows of stitching, like names, special dates and always I LOVE YOU.

You did a great job! I've pondered this method. Would you do it again?
