I read a great tip about the triangles you cut off to make half square triangles. Sew an addition seem 1/2-inch from the first one, then cut them between the two seams. You end up with an additional hst to use for something else.

I have been saving the little triangles, cut from HSTs and plan on sewing them into squares, trimming them into same size squares and making a quilt out of them. I'm starting to like scrappy quilts a lot and these should be just that.

I'll be glad to accept any scraps that nobody wants!!! Please PM me with what you don't want. Don't have much of a fabric stash at all, and would love any fabric I can get my hands on, no matter how small!!
