I love it. You did a great job. It looks so warm and cuddly.

Here in Canada those types of quilts would never be mass produced as they would never pass Health Canada safety guidelines and I am sure you have the same type of safety net in the US.

Your message puzzles me--I don't understand why a flannel blanket is unsafe for a baby? What am I missing here?

You know I didn't quite understand that either. The baby would actually be covered with the smooth side of the blanket and I never leave my grandbabies unattended. :?: :?: :?:

Someone on the internet has spread a story that babies will choke to death on the raveling rag quilts........I got an e-mail ,and also read it here in messages......After they are washed and shook a couple times, nothing much comes off. I have never heard a true story from anyone about a baby chocking and yes the US govt has regulations on everthing sold to the public. I have made them for church, no chocking babies yet.

Thanks for the info--I had never heard this and do not believe it could happen. But at least I know where the writer was coming from. :>

How absolutely adorable. I love your baby quilt. It's wonderful. I've always enjoyed the rag quilts and I can see your flannel made up beautifully and I'm pretty sure mom and new baby are going to love it. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
