My neice has a annual cookout at her house. Big family thing. My oldest daughter never comes, but surprised us this year with her boyfriend. Shes 38 but acts 16. Everyone had a few drinks later in the evening and of course she never stopped. She made a total fool of herself as usual, and was asked to leave! Anyone else have that one kid who just never seems to get it right? Shes an alcoholic and will even admitt it but won't go for help. Its affected her health and I just can't worry about it any more. Everyone has talked to her but she tunes them out. I had a great time up till the end. sigh.

Aw, Bj, BF's son is the same. Been in jail so many times for alchol related stuff, and now he is addicted to pain pills. SO sad, hes only 26, but no job, bad health, terrible debt. We talk to him, try to get him help, try to force him to get help, nothing works. Plus he can con and lie like the devil himself. We love him, but really try to stay away from him at this point. Too frustrating for his dad to be around him.....
My weekend was wonderful, but WAY to busy! I am SOOOO tired now, it will be nice to get back to normal. DD's BF just got out of the Army Friday, so they were here, and lots of people visiting. My house is a STY!!!!!!!!!

Looks like your company had a good time! We stayed home most of the time. Very cool and overcast here (typical 4th for the Seattle area). I did get to JoAnn's for the sale and cut out a few projects to work on in the coming weeks. I did get a summer nightgown done cause we are supposed to finally get summer here.

Except for turning 60 on Friday :D it was a good weekend. Went out to dinner Thursday nite. Son and dil brought over lunch for my birthday gift on Friday. I gave myself Lego's for my present (I have a 4 yo grandson who was thrilled!) Ordered Kindle for PC's and bought/read "The Aloha Quilt" on Saturday and Sunday. Hung out at the pool with grandson on Monday. Yea!
