I love this idea. Now I wish I had more of this fabric, but I don't think it's available now. :-(

I will be seeing my Mom tomorrow, so I will take a picture and post it on this thread okay. I think with the right fabric, it could be masculine for your Dad.

There are so many styles of walkers so you really do need to measure.
Basically, I make an oversized placemat, apply two pockets so one faces my Mom and the other one faces outward. I also attach snaps. It really is very easy to make.
Work up a tutorial for us!!
I wasn't planning on making another one because she has a few now. Would a tutorial using paper and instructions be helpful? Maybe I could do something like that. Let me know, okay?

She will love it! A former dear friend of mine made me a lovely walker bag when I had my right knee replaced 18 months ago, and it was such an asset to me! Everywhere I went... my portable phone, a book, and even snacks went with me lol. God Bless her for making it for me; I will never forget how kind of a gesture that was.

Here is my tutorial for the Walker Bag. I hope it makes sense to everyone. It made sense in my brain LOL but sometimes it loses something in translation.
