Ditto. As a nurse in a doctors office I agree. My doc only drinks one cup of java a day and that is at home. Now if you gave her a card for a Mexican restaurant she would love it....

Love the suggestions you've received. I'm sure whatever you make will please him, just knowing you appreciated his efforts enough to hand make something special just for him.

What a great Dr.! Seems like Drs. have so much on their plate that sometimes they can be a little insensitive. Thank God your Dr. really has a heart & cares about his patients feelings. My Dr is the same. She is great!

As a retired RN I would suggest some baked goodies he can share with the office staff and a nice card or note just saying you appreciate his extra effort= Joyce (retired )labor & delivery nurse)

I agree with the idea of baked goodies and maybe a liner for a bread basket. The reward needs to be quicker than any handmade project that will take time. The mug rug is a good idea but doctors don't stay in one place. Men like food so the baked goods sound like a good bet. Maybe a fleece throw? Again, needs to be rewarded quickly.
