that is awesome.nothing wrong with using technology and new fabric.those ladies long ago would have too if it was available to them

Maybe it reminded him of someone he lost.....it might have brought back painful memories......I am sure it had nothing to do with you. How sad though that he had to be so vocal in public......Way back when women were so hard up they took old clothes to make quilts........we are very fortunate that we have life a little better. I am sure his mother or whomever would have bought new fabric if the times were better. Today if they are made from old clothes they are memorry quilts. Please do not let it bother you. You have to feel sorry for someone who is so sad. Huggs Judy

That was a grumpy old man who doesn't know what he's talking about. I bet the women who made quilts from worn out clothing would have just loved the new fabrics we have today. And they would have loved to be able to afford the fabrics. You have a beautiful quilt. Please don't let this man ruin it for you.
