that thing on the spool pin is the clamp that goes on the needle bar to hold it in place. DONT THROW IT AWAY!

Really!!??? I read this ad and burst out laughing! Some people will put anything in an ad to sell a machine! They looked up the serial # to date the machine and then threw in an absurd remark - hmmm - which war? & airplane parts before the amazing aviation refinements of the Wrights and Glen Curtiss??

That said, it's a 99 in that cabinet - I'd grab it in a flash for what they're asking.
There's something about that extra level of detail in these machines that breaks down any self control I have.
