We understand that not everyone can stick to the schedule, especially through the summer, but any kind of progress is better than none, so keep up the good work.

You all might laugh now, but we are expecting the tail end of Irene to land here soon. We aren't likely to get any damage, it will just be yet another weather front.

Is she building up steam on her journey your way? Boy, you'd think she would be completely spent by now, afterall, she was only a category 1 hurricane! Hurricane Katrina was either a category 3 or 4 & we all remember how bad she was. Grateful Irene wasn't like that!

Well, this time of year is difficult for lots of us to keep working...I'm pluggine and finished up block 4 last night. '

Lesley, no laughing here...just happy that hopefully all her energy is spent and won't cause damage to anyone else...she has done ENOUGH!

No, we are just promised a windy day with some rain, but it looks just like any other weather front that comes across the pond - the isobars aren't particularly close on the weather map. In some ways it would be nice if she blew away all the clouds we seem to have had for the last month. I can't remember when I last saw the moon.

I am at a cross road and I need your advice. I am auditioning borders for my quilt. DH voted for border #1; it is a reverse applique. Border #2 is just plain fabric I bought for the border. Border #3 is appliqued hearts. Let me hear some opinions. Thanks.

Is it scary that I agree with your DH? I like border #1..the reverse applique.
