I am going to an annual Christmas Quilt Retreat tomorrow. We usually take a piece to add to the bunting that decorates our quilting hall. However the space for bunting is now full so this year we are to take a Christmas Ornament to decorate a Christmas tree. These are retained by the group and displayed each year. Our name and year goes on the back. Also we have to take a Christmas placemat each year. These are shuffled and placed on the table for each meal, that way you get to sit near someone new each meal. A great idea, you just find you placemat and that is your place.
I like to make a new one each year, as it uses up fabric and designs. Here are the pictures of what I made.

I couldn't find the opening date either, until Anoka mentioned it in her last post.
