Judy, your batik quilt is stunning! I love that you used multiple swaps to attain all of those blocks. Great idea! You've balanced the variety of colors beautifully. Definitely a treasure.

Dahna, the orange and yellow blocks are so pretty. They will make a wonderful quilt! Your blocks are very pretty. I like the floral material.

I think it turned out magnificent and gorgeous and couldn't have done it without all the great blocks sent to me.

It is huge -- 9 blocks wide by 7 blocks long, plus sashing and borders. As I was laying it out, I decided that I would do strip quilting, the quilt as you go method. That is why the back is in strips. I figured if I had to cut up fabric, why buy 9 or 10 yards of something when I had all sorts of strips that could be used! I didn't have much trouble until the last three strips, by then it was fairly heavy! It is a quilt for me, so it doesn't bother me that the back is not batiks. And really easy to quilt because all you ever have under the throat of the machine is a maximum of 24" or so of material, all the quilted parts move to the left.
Judy that is breathtaken, just beautiful, lucky girl. I also do love your bedroom wall.
