Received yesterday I think, just went to post office chewboo, joanelizbay. I missed alot of postings but am getting the idea my garlic fabric has become quite a topic....who da' thunk it???? Everyone left this morning, so quiet in this house I can hardly stand it, but got the house redusted, vacummed, and now am going through all the laundry. Ended up with 12 extra people, house seemed pretty small. It was really great having them all here and getting to see our great grand daughters. Oh my I am getting old, no wonder I'm exhausted. Clothes ready to fold, but will start sewing on all of your F8's tomorrow. Didn't read everything so if someone posted that they forgot to add a note or something I should know about their fabric, please repeat it or send me a PM. Gotta' get going and play catch up now, holly molly they'll all be back for Thanksgiving....that's going to be 1 big big bird.

I've figured it out! No more consultations required (for now).

Also, QuilterMomma, your block will be going out in the mail tomorrow. There's a picture from the link in my signature line.

Thank you everyone. I am fairly new to quilting so I get extremely self conscious. With saying that you don't have to be nice I like honesty.

Did you know it takes 10,000 repetitions to become a master at anything? Give yourself a break. I don't think anyone in our group would declare themselves perfect... I have yet to make a perfect anything (unless we're talking perfect mess. I can do that without practice).

Default Wrong message in several envelopes

Sorry you guys, I guess I put the wrong message in everyones envelope. What I have is a green, purple, and blue fabric to match a multicolored frog fabric. I was supposed to have put a square of the frog in everyones envelope that didn't get the frog fabric. So that is what happened. I have been trying to put a picture of the frog fabric up but I can't and I don't know why.

Well, I'll be Darned! I got it on there. Yeah! This is my focus fabric and I sent out green, blue and purple fabrics as well as the frog fabric. I ran out of froggie fabric but all of my blocks are going to be to match this focus fabric. Those colors match it perfectly.

    I hope this makes sense.

After I sent you a PM kept reading your note. I did get the frog and the green. On your note you said diamond group frog and then off to the side all you wrote was ruby - green. Anyway I thought you had 2 separate ideas going and that's why I asked what you were doing with the green. I think I got it now, same quilt just different "side" fabs to incorporate with the frogs. Hope this is right, cause you're getting back 2 blocks, both with the frogs, and the other with your green added.

Now I've got it. Jaba we are both in two groups, diamond and ruby together. I put all my groups that had more than one swap in one envelope. You are in ruby's and diamonds, right? That explains it all. I should have told you it was for both groups. There were others as well, Okdarla was one , Elisabrat was one, Girlscouts1, Savannahrandons, and Abby'smom. I put the fabric for both groups in the one envelope. I will sleep better now that I figured it out.

Fellow Swappers; I am so excited about all of hte beautiful fabrics that I have received. My envelopes will be going out on Tuesday. I am attaching a photo for the first batch of blocks that I was able to complete this weekend. I decided to make the blocks in the same order that I received the envelopes in. I do work many hours during the week but I promise each of you that I will think about your F8 as I open the envelope and pick a block that I hope suits your theme or choice or fabric. Thanks for swapping with me. I cannot wait to see what you create!
