I'm so glad that you like them. I was worried, they did not look that great on my table. Maybe it's just my table, huh?
Thanks, Beth

Ms. Shawn is sick but has told me she received my wall hanging for her. I thought I'd post it now that she has received it. When she gets better perhaps she can post a better picture.

I love the wall hanging you did for Ms Shawn - hope she and her family area both feeling better soon.

Now for me - it's here and I LOVE it. Here is the wall hanging Bonni did for me and it is so beautiful. For now it is serving as my table topper but believe me will be hung very soon.
Oh my I feel like a kid at Christmas. This is so much fun.

Thank you again Bonni both for the greatest gift and for hosting this swap. I hope we can be partners again some time real soon.

Glad that you liked it Dee. I BARELY got it finished before my sewing machine quit on me. Careful with it being on the table. Remember to place things on it carefully since the centers of the flowers are buttons. I'd hate to have you get injured by something sliding off of it.

No problem on the table- it's only there for looks. Hope you can get your machine up and running soon. What is wrong with it do you know?

It's not working! (I duck)

Umm. the easiest way to describe it is...on the third stitch it goes clank and the needle moves over a little bit so my stitches are like:

_ _ < (then I stop)

It also seems to be pulling the top thread down under the fabric and wanting to bunch it up like if the bobbin/tension was all off, etc.

I know I sound like a computer tech, but did you try a new needle and rethreading both top and bottom?

No no...I don't mind answering any questions. I've only had it a year and there isn't a "service center" nearby so if it helps me keep it in my apartment then I am glad.

I put in a new needle but might change the top thread as well as take out the bobbin and put it in again. When I was sewing the flowers for you, it had started to sound "rough". I wasn't sure I had the needle in right at first but then figured I did since it really started before that.

You may have bent the needle just a bit and its hitting something in the bobbin area. They always say start with the basics. Just hope it helps get things back and running for you.
