Ralf was born in East Tennessee November 5, 2007 he has been with me since he was four month old. He is my companion I have never been close nor loved any non -human four legget like I am with him.
He is not very friendly with others he is deadly afraid of truck. currently is spoiled rotten he knows when we talk about him and when anyone uses the word dog he thinks that we are talking about him for his ears go up and he becomes very attentive to the conversation. He owns three doggy beds but at the end of the night he sleep at the foot of my bed snoring away.
As spoiled four legget non-human he has a toy box filled to the rim, on a daily bases he takes them all out and plays with all of them and engages me to play with him. He loves to play ball that’s his favorite. He runs all throughout the house with the ball and then he tosses the ball back at you so you can throw it for him, but at the end of the day he hates to put his toys back.
I have to watch my food around him for he is on Jenny Crag because he is gaining a little weight but he not liking it. So he is becoming a food bandit.

That's a cute picture of Ralf. Must be at the end of the day chasing balls. Sounds like he's pretty smart. Our furry kids heard the word dog and didn't react. Dad, Go, Ride, Hungry and Food are their vocabulary.

I did yorkie rescue for 10 years, mainly retired puppy mill dogs, or their defective puppies. I had to quit when DH had cancer 2 years ago. He is in remission, but rescue is not in my cards now.
We have 5 yorkies now. Cookie is now 13 and had so many C-sections that one more litter would have killed her, Shadow is now 13. She weighs 3.5 pounds and lived in a cage till she was 9. She had no teeth left when I got her. Her babies drained her of all her excess calcium.
Krissy was born with two bad knees and a defective hip. The rescue paid for corrective surgery so she could walk on four legs. Rosie had misformed upper leg bones and bad knees. She also had this surgery so she could walk.
Max, our only boy, was an owner surrender. He was 2 years old and had been through 2 homes through not fault of his own. He is a love, but is very vocal.

quiltdoctor, You and your husband are ANGELS! The dogs are adorable too. How did you get started? Have Yorkies always been your breed of choice? I'm so used to big dogs I'm afraid I'll step on or trip over the little, little ones.

    Default My three grandpuppies

We have had many pets over the years, but they are now in heaven. I get to play with and babysit these furry babies on a regular basis.

They sure have that innocent look perfected! I wanna hug them all!!

If you would like to post pictures of your "heavenly" babies, we'd love to see them too.

    Default Our Boxer

Here is Tobin in one of his favorite spots when daddy is at work on the love seat and then at night he's parked in front of the fireplace or between us he's alway's got to be in the middle of everyone. I'd be so lost without him can't even let my mind go there.

I so love all of these photos! What special loves we have in our lives!

Since I first posted (on the first page) we lost Jake, the toy poodle in Sept of 2010...broke our hearts, but we do still have Chip to help heal our broken hearts. I caught this pic of him with Daddy tonite...we were watching football highlights on my computer. ( Our local high school team took the State Championship and the spousal unit is on the coaching staff) Even tho Chip is SUPPOSED to be MY dog...well...you can see for yourself who he prefers!
