OK..I'll be brave..what are nappy liners?
They are strong, very fine, papery looking sheets that go inside a terry nappy (diaper). You know, the old fashioned kind.

You are going to be making so many of these blocks that the color "scheme" will change, adapt, dublicate as you continue making these wonderful old designs. Also, solicit pieces of fabric from friends to add more texture and variety of tones, tints and, also consider making each block twice--once in this color scheme and one in entirely different colors. You'd be surprised how many other smaller projects can and will emerge.

Thanks Doris...there are a few brave ones who are making 2 at the same time. I just can't do it and keep up. I keep picking up FQ's everywhere to add to mine since the blocks are all different. :D

It sounds like you've made this quilt...have you?

LOL, one's enough for me. Here are a few progress pictures.

    This will do now

Q in the ditch on all centre blocks, now reached the border

First row of quilting on scallops. used the same template as the edge shape

More rows, it still looks odd, so will add more

Managed to remember to make the label BEFORE binding this time. Still needs trimming though

Part of first row of Binding done!

First corner done. Getting there now.

Thank you kindly. I'll get off here now, and get back to the sewing. I made the label yesterday, and it says that I finished tomorrow, so I better get on with it.
