Who else is attracted to a ridiculous amount of black?

I have found I am becoming very drawn to black myself. I was so afraid that it was my depression taking over. I even talked to my therapist about it! She asked me to bring in pictures or samples so she could better see what was going on. After she looked at the photos and my fabric samples she smiled at me and said, "With what I see, you are actually bringing out the bright and happy colors." So, it was nice to see that Yes I'm nuts but nuts in a good happy way!

Excellent! I just recently decided to make my God daughter a quilt for this coming Christmas. The parents said she LOVES black/red/gray/white. So........I'm going to dive into it as soon as the fabrics are purchased.

I am also a black print fabric lover. My closet and stash full of it. I like all colors that are what I call saturated. It is a reflection of my personality I guess, I am just not a "pastel" person.

I love black in my quilts and have been known to buy it by the bolt. It can be elegant (just look at the Asian/Oriental fabrics), it can be humorous (Halloween fabrics!), it accents, it contrasts, it compliments, it draws other components together.
In short, it is almost perfect. As far as I am concerned it's only draw back is that it attracts hair and lint.
