I to would love to have this handgun purse. I have been carrying for over 20 years now and I think this would be just awesome!

I also don't like to wear mine on my waist, but I do carry it with me on roadtrips and I do go back and forth to Indiana alot. Single woman traveling the highway, DH stays at home alot while I run the highways. LOL!

Not unusual these days. A few of my Realtor friends carry a small ladies .38 ... I should make some carry purses for them ... and add some bling!

Just throwing a quilt over the head of a perp won't help.

I have a friend that showed me her carrying purse and I could not tell. But sadly it was one she purchased for a pretty penny. I'm interested if you find a pattern. I have on my Christmas wish list a pink revolver. Hubby has his permit I haven't gotten mine yet.

My Husband wants me to make one as well so I am really glad you asked this! It would be great if we find one but maybe if not we could come up with something.

I agree, my daughter carries and it's better if it's on your person. A purse gets stolen too easily. Probably easier, more concealed in the summer though.

A couple of years ago while doing the FabShopHop I ran across a Texas shop that offered patterns or completed purses for concealed handguns. I thought it was funny too but then my DH pointed out it was legal to carry said concealed handgun in Texas. Wow, wow, double wow.

I would think a nice duck cloth would be good for this project. Never heard of one but if you carry a gun, it would be very useful. Good luck
