    Ok here is what I have changed. I started cutting the applique for the butterfly using the Tim Holtz die. Since I wanted the focus fabric to pop more I decided not to put the upper cut layer. Kids will love it this way I believe. I haven't stitched around the butterfly yet but will later on.

    Attached are a couple photo's of what it hopefully will look like once sewn in with the other blocks. I'm still thinking of making one for myself if I can find other fabrics to match and have a mixture in the quilt.

    Looks good to me! I like the butterfly. I think it's great that y'all do this for these kids. Some are removed with little or nothing to call their own.

    On a side note: I want to find a local group that makes duffle (or whatever they're called) bags for the same kids.
