    The things being sold these days for "wedding gowns" just seem trashy to me.

    Thanks for the kind comments....for the record, it doesn't fit, but we were able to button the top button in back, and the front is all we needed for the picture..LOL
    My mom is busy making a lovely scrapbook of pictures of her life, and we didn't have a picture of Grammie in her wedding dress. Glad I was able to model it for her.

    Your gown looks like the ones Martha's Sewing room beautiful sewing/embroidery and they probably did it by hand back then at least some of it. Martha always loves to get those antique clothing. It's beautiful. Sue

    oh that is lovely, just lovely. I could see Diane Keaton or Diane Lane even, wearing that in a movie. A period piece set in 1915 of course.
