    This would be so great to have while I am working on my foundation piecing. Better than up and down all the time. Thank you for sharing now I will be on the out look for one at the thrift store.

    I bought my wooden table after seeing some in a class I was teaching. (Target- $8.00) I haven't covered mine yet, but will be a summer project that I do.

    what a neat idea!!!! will have to get working on one. My sewing chair is on wheels and I keep my ironing board down and I roll back and forth but this would be neat for small projects. Thanks for sharing

    If you cover your table with heavy duty aluminum foil before you add the batting and cover, it will not destroy the paint, etc. underneath. I have been using a vinyl covered office type table covered with such foil and an old army blanket since 1998 and it is still fine.
