We were told at the Home Office Shareholders meeting two weeks that if your store has fabric they will NOT lose it. They also told us that full bolt fabric would return to 700 stores who lost their fabric by September this year. Yippee!

The downside is that I live in a small town and about 2 hours away from a quilt store. When Walmart closed out fabric a quilt store opened up. We are having a wonderful time for miles around going to our local quilt shop. Walmart will kill this shop. It killed the ones when they had fabric. They will not carry all the needs of a quilter. They will not have classes. Sorry I am not excited for my small town.

Does this only apply to Super Walmarts?

I don't want to get my hopes up if it does.

This past weekend my husband had to go get his glasses fixed and we went to a super Walmart were he got the glasses that years ago had taken out the fabric. It is nice to see it back but it is all precuts now. I really didn't care for the fabric they had so I didn't buy any. I will stick to my local Walmart were I can get things cut with lots of choice of fabric.
