    they are emboriery and cross stitching hoops .i have the exate same ones for crosstiching

    Looks like they are embroidery hoops - there may even be a floor model one judging by the thicker pieces (look like they could be the leg/feet?

    They are embroidery hoops & quilting hops.
    Nice gift - play it forward if you cannot

    embroidery hoops and teh one with the long pieces is used for cross-stitching
